Dr. McLean is the former CEO of RxHub. Prior to joining RxHub in 2003, Dr. McLean was with United Health Group for 10 years where he served as CEO of United Resource Networks. At United Resource Networks he was responsible for the growth and development of services in the field of organ transplantation to over 40 million covered individuals. Dr. McLean has over 30 years of experience in health care and the managed care industry.
A clinical pharmacist and experienced healthcare executive, Dr. Schultz has been a leader and innovator in managed care pharmacy and pharmacy benefit management for over 25 years. Formerly Chief Services Officer of National Medical Health Card Systems, his executive background includes over 10 years with Diversified Pharmaceutical Services and Express Scripts. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota and is certified as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 1984. Mr. Albers has an extensive background in sales and marketing, with 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He most recently was the Senior Corporate Account Manager for Amgen, Inc. where he was responsible for national payer accounts. He has been involved in the development of clinical disease management strategies serving major health plan customers.
Dr. Frakes received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 1974 and his Doctor of Pharmacy from that same institution in 1979. Dr. Frakes is the Director of Technology for the Peters Institute of Pharmaceutical Care. He also works for Fairview Pharmacy Services in Fairview’s Collaborative Practice of Pharmaceutical Care Team providing software documentation services and practitioner clinical support, and serves as a credentialed pharmaceutical care practitioner. Dr. Frakes has over 25 years of experience in developing computerized clinical support services for a variety of platforms. He served as Vice President of Health Outcomes Management, Inc., a healthcare software company, overseeing all technical and design aspects for 12 years.
Dr. Losinski is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy. While completing her studies at the College of Pharmacy, she co-founded a pharmaceutical care practice at an interdisciplinary, student run clinic. Dr Losinski received the University of Minnesota's President's Award in recognition of this work. Her focus is starting new pharmaceutical care practices and patient care documentation.
Dr. Bardal received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 2000, and completed a two-year residency in pharmaceutical care with an emphasis in educational technology. After completing the residency, she joined the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy’s Continuing Pharmacy Education office and led the development of the online pharmaceutical care training program. This online training program is currently being used by MMS clients interested in learning how to deliver pharmaceutical care and develop successful practices.
Sam received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 1978. Mr. Testa has an extensive background in sales, marketing, management and training with 25 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Most recently, Sam was a Regional Director in Wyeth Institutional Sales.
Dr.
Cipolle received his Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (Honors) from the College of Pharmacy at
the University of Illinois Medical Center and the Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University
of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.
Dr.
Strand received her Bachelor of Science Degree, Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and Doctor of Philosophy
Degree in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Minnesota. In 2001, Dr. Strand was
presented an honorary Doctor of Science Degree from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen,
Scotland.
